2026 Lan Xiang Hong Shui (Orсhid Scent) Oolong Tea
Warning: Undefined variable $count_reviews in /home/zcrafts/beta_html/catalog/view/theme/cosyone/template/product/product.tpl on line 85This oolong is more about flowers than honey, although honey is still part of the picture. Even though it can brew into a thick ruby liquor, in terms of oxidation, this tea is closer to Gui Fei than to a classic Hong Shui. The oxidation clearly dominates the roast here, making it inherently smooth and easy to drink. What truly captivated me about it is the uniqueness of its floral perfume. It is beautiful, quite unusual, and delicate.
As the name suggests, it opens with a lovely orchid line, joined by plumeria and other tropical floral melodies resting on a thin layer of wild honey.
The flavor is built around a “liquid” floral perfumery, with an unexpected plum background emerging in the second half. The tea brews into a fragrant, enveloping infusion where, alongside the expansive floral notes, one can easily find a fruit-and-honey caramel sweetness.
The oolong goes down perfectly smoothly, and the tropical bouquet lingers in the throat long after the sip, gradually transforming into plums and honey.
The aftertaste is bright and elegant. The tropical tones interplay harmoniously within it, leaving behind a beautiful perfumed trail.
This Hong Shui will suit lovers of subtle yet exquisite oolongs without a heavy roast—oolongs that are easy to drink and easy to share with friends of varying levels of tea experience.
